I’m Matt.  I’m a 27 year-old normal dude who hopes to live very abnormally for the fame of Jesus Christ.  I am married to a gorgeous and godly woman named Lauren.  She’s the love of my life and I’m the luckiest guy on the planet to have her.  I am daddy to 2 precious little girls named Paisley and Stella.  We reside in Raleigh/Durham, NC and we are a part of the greatest church on the planet – the summit church.

I want to see the nations worship Jesus.  I want to write songs that make people stand in awe of who God is and what He has done through Christ.  I want to write songs that incite people to do insane things for the glory of God.  I want to build orphanages for desperate children across the world so they can know their Father in heaven.  I want to preach the gospel to people who have never ever heard it before.  I want hell to know my name.  I want to see the Bible translated into every language on planet earth before I die.  I want to compose music that brings much glory to God.  I want to live like Jesus died yesterday, rose this morning, and is coming back tomorrow.  I want to know and love Jesus more right NOW than I did when you finish this sentence.  I want to love my wife like Jesus loved the Church and ache for her holiness.  I want to see my children sent to go to the nations and give their lives for the gospel.  I want to see my church plant 1000 churches in the next 40 years.  I want to relish everyday in the love of God for me through Jesus, and I want to see JESUS high and exalted on that day and all the pride of man humiliated and debased in the terrifying light of His glory.  Thats what I want.
